DATA::(2008) home takes place in an invented laboratory of sterility, pink plasticity, boredom and release. Two women, dressed in white, lead us through their "world" of extreme static or intense kinetics. The duet moves with a curious playful hesitation or a spastic intensity of a person being electrocuted by her own thoughts. When making home we asked: How can I build a structure based on shifts in quality and ideas that makes one cohesive journey? What is the visual result of accessing memories in the mind? What does its real time movement expression look like? And how can I explore the relationship between memories and the present through the relationship between two dancers?
